Terms and Conditions – The Home Sauna Copy

The Home Sauna – Terms and Conditions

1. About us and these terms

1.1 How we supply saunas. The Home Sauna (thehomesauna.co.uk) offers home saunas from a range of sources. Many are supplied by independent UK partner suppliers; for these, we act as an introduction service, passing your quote request to the supplier so you can buy directly from them. Other saunas may be supplied by us directly, including models we make ourselves. Each product page and quote makes clear who supplies the sauna and who your contract is with.

1.2 Who we are. thehomesauna.co.uk is run by The Home Sauna. You can contact us at contact@thehomesauna.co.uk.

1.3 What these terms cover. These terms apply when you use our website and when you request a quote through it. If you buy a sauna from a partner supplier, that purchase is governed by the supplier’s own terms (see section 4). If you buy a sauna supplied by us, our terms of sale will be provided with your quote (see 4.6).

1.4 By using the website you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the website or submit a quote request. We may update these terms from time to time; the version on the website when you use it is the one that applies.

2. How quote requests work

  1. You choose a sauna and any options, then fill in the quote form.
  2. We pass your request to the supplier of that product, as explained on the form and in our Privacy Policy.
  3. The supplier contacts you directly, usually within 2 working days, with a quote, delivery and installation details, and their own terms of sale.
  4. If you decide to buy, you order from and pay whoever supplies the sauna, as shown on your quote.

2.1 A quote request is free and does not commit you to anything. You are under no obligation to buy, and you can ignore or decline any quote.

2.2 Please give accurate details. The supplier relies on what you tell us, such as your postcode, access to your property and electrical supply, to price your sauna correctly.

2.3 We cannot guarantee a response. We pass on every valid request promptly, but each supplier decides whether to quote and how quickly. If you have not heard back within 5 working days, contact us and we will chase it or suggest another supplier.

2.4 You must be 18 or over to submit a quote request.

3. Product information, prices and images

3.1 Information comes from suppliers. Product descriptions, specifications, options and prices are based on information supplied by, or published by, the relevant supplier. We take care to keep them accurate and up to date, but suppliers can change their products and prices at any time.

3.2 Prices are a guide, not an offer. Any price shown is a guide price including VAT unless stated otherwise. Your final price is the one in the supplier’s written quote. It may differ because of the options you choose, your location, delivery access, installation, groundworks or electrical work.

3.3 Images are for illustration. Photos and renders show the product as typically supplied. Timber colour, grain, finishes, fittings and accessories may vary. Always check the supplier’s quote and specification before you buy.

3.4 Health. If you are pregnant, have a heart condition, high or low blood pressure, or any other medical condition, speak to your doctor before using a sauna.

4. Who your contract is with

4.1 The supplier sells to you. If you buy a sauna from a partner supplier, your contract is with that supplier alone. The supplier is responsible for the product, price, payment, delivery, installation, warranty, returns and after-sales service, under their own terms of sale. Please read those terms before you order.

4.2 Your consumer rights are against the supplier. Your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 apply to your purchase from the supplier. These include goods being of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described, and, for most distance or off-premises sales, a 14-day right to cancel. Made-to-measure or customised saunas may not be cancellable once ordered. The supplier will explain how these rights apply to your order.

4.3 We are not a party to partner sales. For saunas sold by a partner supplier, we do not handle payment, hold deposits or give a warranty on the product, so please pay only the business named on your quote.

4.4 We will still help. If something goes wrong with a supplier we introduced you to, tell us. We cannot decide the dispute, but we will raise it with the supplier, and we review whether we continue to work with suppliers who receive repeated complaints.

4.5 Commission. We may receive a referral fee or commission from suppliers when we introduce a customer. This is how we keep the website free for you. CONFIRM: it does not increase the price you pay

4.6 Saunas supplied by us. Where a product page or quote states that the sauna is supplied by The Home Sauna, your contract is with us. Our terms of sale, provided with your quote, will set out the price, payment, delivery, installation, warranty and your cancellation rights, and your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply to us.

7. Complaints, changes, law and contact

7.1 Complaints about our service. Email contact@thehomesauna.co.uk with details. We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days and aim to resolve it within 4 weeks. Complaints about a sauna or its delivery and installation should go to the supplier first; we will help where we can (see 4.4). If we cannot resolve your complaint, you can get free advice from the Citizens Advice consumer helpline.
